We are looking for an experienced Java software engineer to join an international agile scrum team. Your role will be to develop microservices based cloud solutions with Spring Boot framework. We expect that you will look for the most effective technical solutions for your product, building scalable services.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining software for complex, strategically relevant products and services, considering holistic business requirements.
• Collaborating closely with teammates and requirement engineers (Product Owner, Business Analyst, etc.) to analyze and implement requirements.
• Working with other international scrum teams to develop and implement web applications and REST services.
• Creating software and solution designs and documenting them.
• Supporting colleagues through code reviews and pair programming.
• Mentoring less experienced developers in the team.
• Managing the complete lifecycle of software and services, from development through testing to production support.
• Applying experience with AWS, Sonar, Maven, and Git (Gitlab).

Candidate requirements:

• Several years of professional experience in Java / Spring Boot / Jakarta EE development.
• Strong knowledge of software design patterns and their practical application.
• Experience with Play2 Framework, REST, Mockito-Scala, WireMock, Keycloak / OpenID Connect / OAuth2.0 / Swagger.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Testing skills with Gradle, Groovy, Postman / Newman / SoapUI.
• Teamwork skills and an agile mindset.
• Hands-on experience with agile methodologies and tools like Scrum, Jira, Confluence.
• Fluency in English.
