About the role :

As a Java Engineer, you'll become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.

You will be part of an international team of tech professionals that build some of the best quality tools for one of the most important digital construction management companies.

We are creating a team from the ground up and you will be part of an international team, where you will be part of one of the most important projects of this company where you will help the team in the creation of new Business Applications and internal tools working with agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an integral part in building our dynamic and versatile ecosystem, from design to deployment
• Develop high-quality, maintainable code, and scalable solutions
• Work closely with other specialists (quality, security, product) to make our software design, delivery, and quality unbeatable
• Ensure the quality of development and clean code (CleanCode)
• Participate actively and constantly in the design and development of APIs
• Communicate ideas, new methods, or technologies to improve the current tech stack
• Put the user in the focus of their activity, ensuring value delivery
• Work as a team and hand in hand with the Tech lead and the rest of the development team
• Work in 2-week sprints, composed mainly of iterative user stories and take responsibilities as a team for said commitment
• Testing : JUnit and Mockito
• Databases : SQL and NoSQL
• Tools : Jenkins, Docker, K8’s
• Methodologies : Agile, Scrum, Kanban, TDD, BDD, Clean Code

Requirements

• Java and Microservices Experience
• Experience in the design and development of REST APIs and API interfaces
• Experience building applications with complex business logic

• Experience with Agile Development (Scrum)
• Experience with Gradle
• Experience with CI / CD (Jenkins)
• Experience with Cloud Infrastructure (AWS)
