Formación

• 5+ años de experiencia en desarrollo de software embebido y programación en C.
• Conocimientos en sistemas Linux y automatización de pruebas.

In this position you will be able to develop within dormakaba Iberia, contributing to the business through the generation of brand awareness and the continuous improvement of the customer experience at the different contact points.

We are looking for someone who

Designs, develops, codes, tests, debugs and/or customizes Access Control solutions, within limited scope, for own business or external clients including applications. Mainly focused on firmware development in C and embedded Linux OS. Experience in C++ and Java is also requested.

Tasks and responsibilities

1. Apply industry standards, best practices and advanced methodologies, including Scrum techniques, to address and review system requirements, business processes, changing development and technology environments.
2. Implement specified solutions in a way that conforms to the system architecture.
3. Maintain and review the development results with regard to compliance with the specification, correctness, freedom from errors and compliance with legal regulations and standards.
4. Create technical documentation and prepare content for product documentation.
5. Independent further training both in domain competence and method competence.

Academic requirements

1. A degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
2. You are fluent in English (B2 skill minimum).

Technical skills

1. At least 5+ years of experience in embedded software development.
2. Solid experience in design and implementation of firmware for embedded systems programming in Java.
3. Proficiency in Linux systems. The Command Line Interface is your friend.
4. Security for connected devices.
5. Skills to use measurements tool for analyzing protocols.
6. You like working with firmware and hardware and you can read and understand schematic circuit diagrams of existing and new embedded systems.
7. Knowledge in databases optimized for embedded systems (e.g. SQLite).
8. You care about following good practices at coding (clean, readable, maintainable code).
9. You know how important test automation is.
10. Good comprehension of OOP programming paradigm.
11. Good communications skills and participative.
12. You are a team player. We achieve goals as a team.

14. You follow a customer-centricity mindset.

Nice to have

1. Experience in C/C++.
2. Experience in Python.
3. Knowledge in RFID technologies (e.g. MIFARE or LEGIC).
4. Experience working under Scrum or SAFe frameworks, or open to work under such Agile frameworks.
5. You know about DevOps and have maintained CI/CD pipelines and workflows in the past.
