We are currently looking for a Java Development Leader, remotely from Spain, for one of our clients.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex microservices using Java and AWS cloud services.
2. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a distributed team of developers in Spain and India.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and align them with business goals.
4. Implement best practices for coding, testing, and deployment to ensure high-quality software delivery.
5. Monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability.
6. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to foster innovation.
7. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve team performance.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Java developer or solution architect, with a focus on microservices-based systems.
2. Strong expertise in AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and ECS.
3. Familiarity with Docker and ECS is advantageous.
4. Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs for integration and communication.
5. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
6. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
7. Strong leadership and communication skills to guide a remote team.
8. Proficiency in English; knowledge of German and/or Spanish is a plus.
