Position: Java Developer

Location: 100% remote for candidates based in Spain.

Role Overview: Contribute to projects with a global leader in credit cards, auto loans, banking, and savings accounts. High proficiency in English is required.

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of experience in Java programming and API development.
• Strong understanding of design patterns and principles, such as SOLID.
• Experience with various testing types including Unit, API, Acceptance, and Load Testing.
• Knowledge of distributed architectures like SOA or MSA.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and REST APIs.
• Relevant experience with AWS services.
• Proficiency with Gradle or Maven and Enterprise Jenkins.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in highly regulated environments like banking.
• Knowledge of Docker and AWS certifications.
• Experience with serverless technologies (AWS Lambda, Fargate).
• Familiarity with TDD and BDD methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable software.
• Ensure stable operation and maintenance of software within a DevOps culture.
• Optimize application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
• Work independently and collaboratively.
• Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle, including QA and peer review.
• Align work with product management goals and vision.
• Innovate within your technical domain and contribute to team initiatives.
• Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00-17:00.
