The position is permanent and hybrid (50% in the office). You’ll collaborate with a Madrid-based engineering team and advocate clean code, pragmatic testing, and reliable delivery while navigating legacy constraints.

Formación

• Strong commercial experience with Java 7/8.
• Solid backend fundamentals: APIs, data access, reliability.
• Calm, methodical approach to legacy constraints.
• Based in Madrid or willing to relocate.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain backend services in Java 7/8.
• Debug incidents, improve performance, and ship safely in production.
• Work in a mature codebase with pragmatic refactors, clean code, and sensible testing.
