SIX Group Services Ltd. in Madrid is seeking a Java Backend Engineer to join an agile, self-organized team. You will design, develop and maintain scalable backend services and APIs for a greenfield platform using modern Java technologies, taking ownership from design through delivery.

You will collaborate with product owners and engineers, work with OpenShift, CI/CD, and messaging systems, and contribute to architecture decisions while upholding testing and documentation standards.

Formación

• 3-5 years of enterprise Java experience.
• Proven ability to design and build RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Spring ecosystem and microservices.
• Familiarity with OpenShift and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs for a greenfield platform using Java technologies.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Integrate with external systems and services using MQ, Elasticsearch, databases, APIs, and OpenShift.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and design discussions for quality and maintainability.
• Ensure software quality through automated testing and code reviews.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and architecture artifacts.
