Talan, an international consulting group, is seeking a Java Backend Engineer to join our Spain engineering team. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs within a modern microservices architecture, collaborating with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver secure, reliable applications.

You should be passionate about backend development, cloud-native technologies, and enterprise-grade software.

Formación

• Proven experience with Spring Boot and microservices.
• Hands-on PostgreSQL design and development.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Docker containers and OpenShift.
• Version control with Git.
• Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and the Spring ecosystem.
• Design, implement, and maintain RESTful APIs.
• Participate in the design, optimization, and maintenance of PostgreSQL database models.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on OpenShift.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to ensure seamless integration with React.
• Participate in code reviews and CI/CD practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve performance and security.
• Work in Agile teams with sprint planning and retrospectives.
