We’re looking for Senior Java Backend Developer CONTRACTORS (Remote – Spain)

Location : Remote (based in Spain), preferred Madrid

Are you a passionate Java backend expert with a strong background in microservices and cloud infrastructure? We’re looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join a cutting-edge project for a leading client in Madrid.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Microservices
• Architect scalable and highly available microservices
• Develop and optimize database solutions using MongoDB and AWS DocumentDB
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features
• Ensure performance, security, and responsiveness of applications
• Use Azure DevOps for CI / CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across environments

Requirements :

• 7+ years of experience as a backend developer (Java + Spring)
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB and AWS DocumentDB
• Proficient in Azure DevOps for CI / CD and infrastructure management
• Experience using Terraform
• Fluent in Spanish and advanced English (C1)
• Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications :

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Familiarity with Salesforce integration
• Experience with containerization ( Docker, Kubernetes )
• Understanding of front-end technologies and frameworks
