UST España & Latam is seeking an Application Operations Support professional to ensure the operation of core banking apps and manage incident tickets in a hybrid Madrid setup. The role involves on-call duties, change administration, and weekend releases as part of ongoing operational projects.

Ideal candidates have experience in application support, Unix and Windows server knowledge, and familiarity with Java app servers and databases. English is required; German is a plus.

Formación

• Professional experience in application support.
• Good Unix knowledge; shell scripting is an advantage.
• Windows Server OS knowledge.
• Java app server/DB knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong written and spoken English; German an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure operation of core banking applications (2nd level support).
• Process incident tickets from monitoring systems within SLAs.
• Coordinate between incident managers, app owners, 3rd-level support, and stakeholders.
• Takeover of periodic on-call duty (weekly 7x24).
• Administer change requests for application-related processes.
• Participate in periodic releases on weekends.
• Engage in projects relating to operational aspects for existing or newly integrated applications.
• Process optimization and automation of repetitive tasks including handover to L1.
