The IVORI Master Fellowship Programme, offered by ICIQ, supports female university graduates from Latin America in pursuing a Master's degree in chemistry or related fields. Participants will undertake a research project and receive financial support during their academic journey.

IVORI Master Fellowship Programme

The IVORI Master Fellowship Programme, offered by The Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ), aims to support female university graduates from Latin America (Spanish-speaking countries and Brazil) in enrolling in the URV/ICIQ Master's program. Participants will undertake a research project in chemistry or a closely related field, leading to a Master's Degree.

The programme will be conducted in English and targets highly qualified female graduates passionate about research. Selected students will join one of ICIQ's research groups and undertake an individual master's research project under a group leader's supervision. Successful candidates will receive a grant to complete their Master's research at ICIQ within one academic year.

Application Process

The application must be completed online via ICIQ's Career Portal, with the call open from March 24th to May 4th, 2025. Applicants should prepare the following documents in PDF format:

1. Scanned copy of the BSc diploma and academic transcript, including final grade, grading scale, and passing grade.
2. Curriculum Vitae, detailing completed degrees and relevant research or professional experience.

Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in written and oral English; finalists will undergo an interview. Please note that only one application per person is permitted, and incomplete applications will be rejected. Documents in languages other than Catalan, Spanish, or English require certified translations.

Eligibility and Evaluation Criteria

The programme is open to female graduates from Latin America (Spanish-speaking countries and Brazil) with a degree in Chemistry, Physics, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields, completed before the Master's enrolment.
