Formación

The primary objective is to support existing solutions globally, participate in business process transformation to align processes, and explore new ways to deliver value to the supply chain Order to Cash processes. The role involves partnering with global process owners to enhance, transform, and implement solutions, bridging the gap between strategy and technology within a complex ecosystem. The position supports modernization of Alcoa’s enterprise applications through simplification, standardization, and digitalization, focusing on improving integration, automation, and data strategies.

Major activities/Key challenges:

  1. Collaborate with supply chain Order to Cash global teams to meet their needs and support business performance optimization.
  2. Support product line leaders by developing strong relationships, understanding current conditions, business needs, and contributing to cost-effective process and system improvements.
  3. Leverage knowledge of supply chain practices to navigate data and technology challenges.
  4. Contribute to ideation, solution development, implementation, and deployment of system solutions and digital initiatives.
  5. Document requirements, detailed specifications, work estimates, and timelines.
  6. Collaborate with team members and offshore technical support teams.
  7. Stay informed on technology trends and collaborate with architecture, governance, and security teams.

The ideal candidate possesses sufficient business and technical knowledge to meet business requirements.

  • Experience with Oracle ERP R12 modules such as Order Management, Advanced Pricing, Accounts Receivables; experience with Finance, Product Costing, Shipping modules is a plus.
  • Experience implementing custom solutions to address functionality gaps in Oracle R12.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages like Spanish, Portuguese, or French are advantageous.
  • Understanding of IT Service Management, compliance, and data privacy regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of data sourcing and lineage.
  • Flexibility to support global business across multiple time zones.
  • Technical skills such as PL/SQL, Shell Scripting, Oracle FND architecture are a plus.
  • Experience in the Mining & Metals industry is advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or Business Administration with experience in IS solutions implementation.
  • At least 3 years of experience in systems implementation and support on large-scale applications.
  • Effective interpersonal and leadership skills; collaborative management style.
