Job Opportunity: IT System Engineer at ASTEK Iberia

ASTEK Iberia is seeking an IT System Engineer for our partner, a global leader in the payments sector.

Responsibilities

1. Work within internal and external teams (Spanish, English).
2. Manage changes and deploy new solutions, releases, and infrastructure in an automated cloud environment (Terraform, GitLab, Puppet, Foreman, etc.).
3. Troubleshoot incidents by analyzing logs.
4. Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings.
5. Conduct security audits and manage incidents.

Candidate Profile

• Intermediate English level (B1/B2).
• Degree in IT or Telecommunications Engineering.
• Deep knowledge of RedHat Linux.
• Valuable: Knowledge of TCP/IP routing and network basics.
• Experience with JBoss server applications.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of GitLab and DevOps tools (Puppet) is a plus.
