Serve as a communications security expert in global project engagements and initiatives, helping businesses to architect security solutions that address business requirements while ensuring compliance with security policies, regulations, and best practices.
- Lead and / or execute the implementation of new systems architectures and infrastructure-related projects.
- Maintain industry-leading understanding of IT Security technologies.
- Serve as the IT Communications & Security Architect during the analysis, design, and planning phases of IT projects.
- Ensure project objectives are met, managing quality, timeliness, and cost of deliverables, and report project status.
- Provide technical expertise for planning and defining new system requirements within approved architectures : perform feasibility and performance studies, including benchmarking, capacity planning, and sizing.
- Develop system recommendations to meet user needs, including configurations and installation planning.
- Prepare and present technical product information to the user community.
- Proactively identify shortcomings in performance with IT solution providers and propose corrective solutions, ensuring upgrades are adequate.
- Handle post-installation responsibilities including technical consulting and solving software problems.
- Support system administration activities within allocated environments.
- Support specific business areas, such as departments or countries, in user and operational requirements, troubleshooting, and migration to new versions.
- Document all related activities, including validation documents and system proposals / recommendations.
- Contribute to the definition of Service Level Agreements.
- Design configurations and support ongoing projects through effective administration.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Industry-recognized security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
- Understanding of security-specific architecture methodologies.
- Proven experience implementing business-aligned, technically sound IT Security solutions.
- Knowledge of project lifecycle methodologies.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask efficiently.
- Critical thinking skills to influence decisions based on strategic project understanding.
- Strong understanding of core IT Security capabilities and technologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, facilitation, and negotiation skills, including translating between business and technical needs.
- High proficiency in English.
Experience :
- At least 5 years supporting complex infrastructure setup and sensitive business applications as an IT System Engineer.
- Enterprise IT Security expertise.
- Project management experience in at least 3 medium to large infrastructure projects.
