Description

AZUL HANDLING, in cooperation with our partner airline RYANAIR, is currently looking for an IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN on a full-time permanent basis to join our Head Office team in Seville, Spain.

The Role

If hired, you’ll support IT issues, develop tools, monitor, and maintain computer systems and networks for all airports and our Headquarters. You will plan, install, and configure complete IT systems (hardware, software, internet, etc.), diagnose hardware and software faults, and resolve technical and application problems at airports and headquarters.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design and manage all IT infrastructure across the company, including procurement, installation, and management of systems at airports and offices throughout Spain.
  • Carry out telecommunications installations, cable channeling, network and data cabling, fibre optics, and connect hardware and software in new and existing airports.
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks, evaluate new technology needs, and optimize resources.
  • Provide remote technical support to employees, including setting up user accounts, troubleshooting password issues, and printer connections.
  • Manage relationships and contracts with telecommunications, IT, and network providers.
Working as part of a team, you will be dedicated and flexible to ensure a safe and quality passenger service, facilitating operational development by promoting a positive environment, ensuring passengers enjoy a pleasant journey with Ryanair Group airlines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • At least 1 year of experience in an IT department within a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with diverse tasks beyond help desk support.
  • Experience in different IT domains: business, data, applications, and technology.
  • Experience in hardware/software installation, structured cabling, and certifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks/projects.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to travel at short notice.
  • Valid driver’s license (B).
  • Availability to support operational needs during weekends and holidays.
  • Reside in Seville.
