AZUL HANDLING, in co-operation with our partner airline RYANAIR, is currently looking for an IT SUPPORT TECHINICIAN on a full-time permanent basis to join our Head Office team in Seville, Spain.

THE ROLE
If you are hired, you’ll support in IT issues on developing tools, monitoring and maintaining the computer systems and networks for all our airports and in our Headquarters! This person will offer support to plan, install and configure complete IT systems (e.g. hardware, software, internet etc.), diagnose hardware and software faults and solve technical and applications problems in each airport and in our Headquarters.

Duties & responsibilities (included but not limited to):

  • Setting of all IT designs throughout the Company, including the responsibility to directly manage the supply, purchase and installation on site and by itself, of all the necessary infrastructure and systems at all airports and offices throughout Spain
  • The selected candidate will be primarily and directly responsible for carrying out the necessary telecommunications installations, installation of cable channeling, network and data cabling, fibre-optics, connection of different types of hardware, software, cables and connectors in new and existing airports
  • Ongoing monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks evaluating new technology needs for all departments and resource optimization
  • Helpdesk tasks of remote technical assistance to employees with daily tasks (P.E: Setting up new users’ accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues, printer connections, etc.)
  • Manage the business relationships and contracts with telephone, IT and network companies

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications engineering or related field
  • Fluent Spanish and English required
  • 1 year of demonstrated experience in a company’s IT department in a fast-paced environment is required
  • Have performed different tasks and not only answering the call center and help desk
  • Work experience in different domains (business, data, applications and technology)
  • Experience in IT installations (hardware and software), structured cabling and certifications
  • Ability to solve problems quickly
  • Ability to prioritize and work with multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently, requiring minimal supervision
  • Flexibility to travel, sometimes at short notice
  • Flexible to support unexpected situations in our operations (sometimes weekends and holidays)
  • Live in Seville is required
  • Permanent full-time contract
  • Working in a young, responsible department and in a multinational environment
