IT Support Specialist with Administrative and Social Media Responsibilities

Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and skilled IT Support Specialist with administrative and social media responsibilities to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about technology, problem-solving, supporting day-to-day operations, and engaging with our online community.
As an IT Support Specialist, you will manage our internal IT systems, provide technical support for staff, and be responsible for our social media. You will also handle administrative tasks to ensure the smooth execution of training courses and internal processes.
It is a Full-Time Job (40 hours per week). This job will let you enjoy the ability to work from home most of the time, with in-person attendance required only during scheduled courses.
Responsibilities
- IT Support: Provide technical support for all internal systems, networks, and software. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- System Maintenance: Maintain and update internal systems, databases, and servers. Ensure regular backups and data security protocols are in place.
- Training Platform Support: Assist in the setup and maintenance of our learning management systems and other online training platforms.
- Administrative Tasks: Support the administrative team with general office tasks, including managing communications, scheduling, and document management.
- Social Media Management: Manage and grow Trauma Training’s presence on platforms like LinkedIn and Instagram. Create and schedule posts, engage with followers, and monitor trends to ensure our content aligns with company goals.
- Content Creation: Develop engaging content (graphics, posts, articles, etc.) that promotes our training programs, mission, and industry expertise.
- Vendor Management: Work with external IT vendors for equipment purchases, maintenance, and troubleshooting services.
- IT Documentation: Develop and maintain internal documentation for troubleshooting, systems maintenance, and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in IT support, system administration, or a related field.
- Familiarity with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and learning management systems.
- A working knowledge of WordPress is desired.
- Strong understanding of networking, data security, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Experience in social media management and content creation for platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
- Basic administrative experience (e.g., handling office tasks, scheduling, document management).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide technical support to non-technical staff.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a dynamic environment.
- Certifications in IT support or system administration (preferred but not required).
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus.
