We are looking for a highly skilled IT Support Helpdesk Specialist with at least three years of hands-on experience managing, configuring, and optimizing Jira and other Atlassian tools. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in administering Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Jira Core, Confluence, and the broader Atlassian suite, with a firm grasp of best practices for system configuration and performance optimization.
Responsibilities :
- Administer and manage Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and other Atlassian tools.
- Configure, maintain, and customize Jira projects, workflows, screens, permissions, and notifications to meet team needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within Jira and Atlassian tools, ensuring high system availability.
- Collaborate with teams to align Jira configurations with business requirements.
- Create and maintain user groups, permissions, and access control policies.
- Monitor system performance and optimize configurations for high performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Support Jira users, troubleshoot issues, and guide efficient tool usage.
- Regularly update and maintain Jira and Atlassian tools, applying patches and upgrades promptly.
- Train end-users and internal teams on Jira functionalities and best practices.
- Maintain documentation for Jira configurations and workflows.
- Assist with integrations between Jira and third-party tools like Slack, GitHub, and CI/CD tools.
- Provide regular reports on system usage and performance.
Facilities Management Responsibilities :
- Oversee daily operations and maintenance of our Madrid office, including building systems, equipment, and grounds.
- Manage and supervise maintenance staff and contractors, ensuring safety and high service standards.
- Ensure facility compliance with local regulations.
- Develop preventive maintenance schedules for all building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
- Handle procurement and management of facility-related vendors and service contracts.
- Manage facility budgets, expenses, and resource allocation.
- Develop emergency protocols, safety procedures, and business continuity plans.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure safety and operational standards.
- Coordinate space planning, office moves, and layout changes as needed.
- Respond promptly to facility issues and employee requests.
- Monitor energy consumption and implement cost-saving measures.
- Maintain facility records, logs, and reports.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in another European language is desirable.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Jira Administrator or managing Atlassian products.
- Deep experience with Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Jira Core, and Confluence administration.
- Proficiency in JQL and advanced search functionalities.
- Experience with Jira automation, scripting (e.g., ScriptRunner), and system integrations.
- Knowledge of cloud and on-premise Atlassian environments.
- Understanding of ITSM, Agile, and project management methodologies.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a multicultural, global environment.
Location: Madrid, Spain. This is a permanent, full-time role requiring 5 days in-office per week, Monday to Friday. Employment eligibility in Spain required; no Visa sponsorship available.
