A European healthcare tech firm is seeking an IT Support Engineer to maintain the stability of IT systems and support medical staff. Responsibilities include providing technical assistance, managing IT equipment, and ensuring data security. The ideal candidate has a background in IT support, especially within healthcare, and possesses strong problem-solving and communication skills. Knowledge of Windows OS and networking is essential. Formación

  • Proven experience as an IT Support Engineer or similar role, preferably in healthcare.

Role Description

The IT Support Engineer plays a crucial role in maintaining the stability and efficiency of IT systems across our organization. This role supports medical and office staff by providing technical assistance, managing infrastructure, and ensuring compliance with quality, security, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver first and second-level remote and on-site support for hardware, software, and network issues
  2. Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment, manage user accounts, and ensure data security
  3. Provide IT onboarding and training for new staff and doctors
  4. Assist in IT infrastructure projects, perform audits, and contribute to ongoing system improvements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Proven experience as an IT Support Engineer or similar role, preferably in the healthcare or teleradiology industry
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems
  • Familiarity with networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
  • Experience with Google Workspace and other enterprise IT tools
  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID / Intune / Autopilot
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with users at all levels of the organization
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal; Swedish and/or Spanish is a plus
  • Social and communicative, diplomatic, able to work in an international virtual team environment
  • Service-oriented and adaptable to a multi-disciplined work environment
  • Ability to control and coordinate complex technical situations calmly and professionally
  • High level of energy and stress management skills
