Purpose of the Role
To take responsibility for telephone, mail & onsite IT service delivery to end-users and the administrative and organizational follow-up of tickets (incidents, requests & changes) & updating CMDB, in order to provide a tangible and fast end-user IT service. The second part of the role is to maintain the IT-infrastructure, resolve structural problems to ensure that the continuity and efficiency of the IT-infrastructure meets the needs of the organization and guarantees its optimum availability and adherence to agreed service levels.
Requirements
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Platform Tools
- Knowledge of other systems/programs is a plus
- Fluent in Spanish and/or Catalan
- Fluent in English
- Well organized and able to analyze an IT problem in a short timeframe
- User/client-oriented
- Motivated to help people with IT problems
- Good communicator
- Capable of understanding and accepting the impact on the business
- Enjoys working in a team
- Min. Bachelor in ICT or similar experience (3-5 years)
- Availability to travel occasionally to a work center of Grupo Ravago España (Manresa, Tarragona, or Vic)
Principal Responsibilities/Tasks
- Offer first-line support for incidents to restrict and prevent interruptions of IT services
- Utilize Topdesk as the ITSM tool from Ravago
- Update procedures and configurations to provide necessary tools to the first line to ensure stability of the environment within agreed service levels
- Help ensure continuous service to guarantee agreed service levels with focus on end-users
- Be responsible for technical realizations and manage necessary installations and configurations of hardware and software to implement IT infrastructure successfully
- Inform, train, and guide end-users to ensure systems are used efficiently
- Create and update FAQ documentation
- Stay informed about evolutions in the field and keep knowledge up to date with new developments to strengthen credibility by offering continuously updated service
