A multinational company in the chemical sector is seeking an IT Support professional for its headquarters in El Prat de Llobregat. The role involves end-user service delivery, maintaining the IT-infrastructure, and resolving structural problems to ensure service efficiency and continuity. Ideal candidates will possess strong knowledge of Microsoft tools, excellent team collaboration skills, and a Bachelor’s degree in ICT or equivalent experience.

Formación

  • Min. Bachelor in ICT or similar experience.
  • User/client-oriented with strong problem analysis skills.
  • Fluent in English, preferably local language.

Our client is an important multinational company in the chemical sector. We are looking for an IT Support for its headquarters in El Prat de Llobregat.

Purpose of the role :

To take responsibility for telephone, mail & onsite IT service delivery to end-users and the administrative and organizational follow-up of tickets (incidents, requests & changes) & updating CMDB, in order to provide a tangible and fast end user IT service.

The second part of the role is to maintain the IT-infrastructure, resolve structural problems to ensure that the continuity and efficiency of the IT-infrastructure meet the needs of the organization, and guarantee its optimum availability and adherence to agreed service levels.

Requirements :

  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Platform Tools
  • Knowledge of other systems / programs is a plus.
  • Fluent English, preferably in the local language.
  • Well organized and able to analyze an IT problem in a short timeframe
  • User / Client oriented
  • Motivated to help people with IT problems
  • Capable of understanding and accepting the impact on the business
  • Team player
  • Min. Bachelor in ICT or similar by experience (>

  • Provide first-line support for incidents to prevent and restrict IT service interruptions.
  • Use Topdesk as the ITSM tool.
  • Update procedures and configurations to ensure stability and support the first line in maintaining environment within service levels.
  • Help ensure continuous service to meet agreed service levels with a focus on end-users.
  • Responsible for technical implementations, including necessary installations and configurations of hardware and software to successfully deploy IT infrastructure.
  • Inform, train, and guide end-users to maximize system usage and efficiency.
  • Create and update FAQ documentation.
  • Stay informed about developments within the field and keep knowledge up-to-date to provide credible, current service.
