Job summary

Allianz Technology seeks a motivated intern for its Central Internal IT Services Team in Barcelona. You will analyze consumption data, spot anomalies, and support cost-saving initiatives across locations worldwide while learning to automate reporting with Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps.

You will work hands-on with senior team members on real-time financial decisions and own pieces of the work end-to-end, in a hybrid Barcelona office.

Qualifications

• Master's degree completed or in final year in Finance, Business, Economics, or closely related field.
• Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of Power BI; familiarity with Power Automate and Power Apps is a strong plus.
• Genuine curiosity about automation and a willingness to learn new tools quickly.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Fluent English (business language); additional languages welcome.
• Strong communication skills; comfortable collaborating across cultures and time zones.
• Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles and practical use; comfortable using AI tools and prompts.

Responsibilities

• Analyze material numbers and consumption data across Allianz Technology locations worldwide to identify cost-optimization opportunities.
• Review expense data to detect anomalies and support investigations into root causes.
• Read, interpret, and build on existing Power BI dashboards; help evolve our reporting toolkit.
• Drive automation of recurring analytical and reporting tasks (Power Automate, Power Apps, AI-based workflows).
• Collaborate with colleagues across global locations on joint cost-optimization initiatives.
• Work side by side with senior team members on solutions that directly impact the company's bottom line.
