IT SPECIALIST – South Europe and North Africa

Enza Zaden is seeking a highly motivated IT Specialist to join our Global IT team. The position will be based in Almeria or Murcia Spain.

What will you do?

Due to the significant growth of our organization and the realization of our digital journey, we have created the IT Specialist position for the South Europe and North Africa Region. As part of our global IT department, you will lead and contribute to expanding and enhancing our IT environment, ensuring a high-quality user experience for our team members, you will be :

• Responsible for the adequate solution, communication, and coordination of incidents and requests.
• Accountable for using the security and compliance protocols, and procedures to prevent potential threats and continuously improve the IT service(s).
• Responsible for the vision and strategy roadmap for 1-3 years, budget, licensing, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
• Responsible for workstation management (delivery, upgrades, life cycle management, tracking of company property, and performance monitoring).
• Other duties as needed to support the department goals.

You are someone who takes initiative, is professional, assertive, and a great communicator. You can work independently; however, you enjoy working in cross-functional teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience preferred.
• Manage global supplier relationships to meet SLAs and deliver value, with a focus on enhancing user experience in the South Europe and North Africa.
• You are a proactive professional with excellent communication skills tailored to user needs, and you excel in global cross-functional teamwork and aligning with stakeholders.
• Must be fluent in English, understanding, speaking, and writing.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is necessary.
• Proficient in software applications (Microsoft Office, Dynamics, ERP, CRM, HR systems, and AI).
• You have a valid driver’s license, and you are an eligible driver under the company insurance policy.
• Occasional travel, domestic and international (20%).
