We are looking for an IT Specialist for our Barcelona - El Prat (BCN) Operational Unit.

Profile

IT technical support officers monitor and maintain the computer systems and networks of the organization. They will be installing and configuring computer systems, diagnosing hardware and software faults, and solving technical and application problems, either over the phone or in person.

Responsibilities

1. Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
2. Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
3. Assist staff or clients through a series of actions, face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues.
4. Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and resolving hardware or software faults.
5. Replace parts as required.
6. Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.
7. Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair faults or set up systems.
8. Support the roll-out of new applications.
9. Set up new users' accounts and profiles and manage password issues.
10. Respond within agreed time limits to call-outs.
11. Work continuously on a task until completion or referral to third parties.
12. Prioritize and manage multiple open cases.
13. Establish a good working relationship with customers and professionals.
14. Test and evaluate new technology.
15. Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment.

Job Requirements

1. Knowledge of Windows Server environment, including Group Policy Management.
2. Knowledge of Office 365 and Azure AD.
3. Knowledge of WYSE / Citrix VDI environment.
4. Background in Business Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Computer Networking, Hardware, or related fields.
5. Fluent in Spanish and English, both spoken and written; Italian is a plus.
6. Analytical thinking skills and initiative.
7. Valid driving license.
8. Valid criminal record check.
9. Right to live and work in Spain prior to application.
