Bacardi in Barcelona is seeking an IT SOX Senior Associate to drive testing and continuous improvement of the IT SOX program. You will lead ITGC and application controls testing, collaborate with IT leadership and external auditors, and help ensure robust controls across critical systems impacting financial reporting.

The role emphasizes technical rigor, cross-functional collaboration, and mentoring junior staff. Excellent English and a proactive, analytical mindset are essential.

Formación

• Bachelors degree in Information Systems, CS, Accounting or Finance.
• 3–6 years IT audit, SOX, or internal controls experience.
• Strong knowledge of SOX 404, ITGCs and application controls.
• Experience with control testing methodologies and audit tools.
• Familiarity with COBIT, COSO, NIST and ERP systems (SAP).
• Excellent analytical, organizational and project management skills.
• Strong written and oral communication; able to present findings.
• Certifications such as CISA, CIA, CPA preferred.
• Fluent English; additional languages a plus.
• Experience leveraging AI/automation is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and execute IT SOX testing for ITGCs, application controls, and IT-dependent controls.
• Lead evaluation of design and implementation of new or changed controls.
• Coordinate with control owners to gather evidence and remediate deficiencies.
• Review IT risk areas, identify control gaps and advise remediation.
• Support annual SOX risk assessment, scoping and documentation updates.
• Prepare workpapers and reporting for stakeholders and auditors.
• Collaborate with Internal Audit on integrated audits.
• Mentor junior associates on IT audit and SOX methodology.
• Stay current on emerging technologies and cybersecurity threats.
