JOIN THE TEAM

We are currently seeking a talented Solutions Architect to join our team at BASF's Agricultural Solutions department Digital Factory.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Leading and orchestrating the IT solution process in the various phases of solution design development to ensure smooth execution and compliance with current security and compliance requirements.
2. Working closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into the solution design.
3. Creating clear and comprehensive documentation of solution designs, including architecture diagrams and integration descriptions, and presenting them to the Architecture Board.
4. Selecting appropriate technology stacks and platforms based on governance policies of Enterprise Architecture to maintain consistency in the system landscape of the Agricultural Solutions department.
5. Regularly validating governance policies against requirements and collaborating with AP Enterprise Architecture if adjustments are necessary.
6. Continuously reviewing existing solution designs to identify risks and vulnerabilities and providing suggestions for mitigation.
7. Providing mentorship and guidance to product teams and IT Delivery Leads throughout the entire product lifecycle to implement solutions within product timelines and budgets.
8. Staying updated on changes in governance policies, as well as new technology offerings in the market and their relevance to our environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Degree in Computer Science, further education in IT / Digitalization.
2. Experience in at least two comparable positions.
3. Leadership experience within agile organizations.
4. Work experience within Digital teams and jobs.
5. IT feasibility study.
6. IT Infrastructure / system landscape.
7. Process management and improvement.
8. Analytical thinking and problem-solving.
9. Technologies in own operational area.
10. Communication skills, advanced English.
11. Strong understanding of web security practices and performance measurement.
12. System integration, standard applications, consulting methods, moderation, project management, and change management.
