Are you an experienced IT Service Engineer with a passion for software design and problem-solving? What will make you succeed in this position?

• At least 3-5 years of experience in software design, requirements analysis, and effort estimation.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Willingness to develop knowledge about the Allianz Suisse-specific group life model.
• Experience in group life insurance business is a plus.
• Java/Unit Testing experience.
• Experience in implementing modern software architectures with a central service layer.
• Experience working with complex distributed systems.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools (GitHub, Jenkins, Docker).

Your mission in the role will be:

• Analyse and assess software development tasks and requirements according to project specifications and prepare effort estimations.
• Implement/model software requirements based on requirements analysis in the KLS (Group Life System).
• Implement/model interfaces according to requirement specifications and architectural guidelines.
• Implement/model unit tests for the implemented requirements.
• Provide clear, accurate, and thorough documentation of implemented software requirements.
• Correct errors in source code or models and associated documentation.
• Collaborate closely with local solution designers, product owners, and business staff.
• Work independently, writing clean code adhering to rules and guidelines.
• Enjoy working with colleagues in an agile environment.
