ISGlobal is seeking a dynamic exposure scientist / climate scientist / environmental epidemiologist who is interested in taking over and managing activities of the projects intoDBP and BWater. Objectives are to assess the links between water quality in finished drinking water and climate variables, including extreme weather events in the intoDBP case studies (Barcelona, Cyprus, Ireland) and compare health impacts associated with different water choices in the city of Barcelona.
intoDBP is a collaborative Horizon Europe project including 16 partners from 9 countries, aimed to create innovative tools and strategies to improve water quality management for safe human use and a healthy environment. ISGlobal is coordinator of Work Package 6 – EXPOSURE, aimed to increase the understanding of human exposure to disinfection by-products in European populations. intoDBP (INNOVATIVE TOOLSTO CONTROL ORGANIC MATTER AND DISINFECTION BYPRODUCTS IN DRINKING WATER) has received funding from the European Union's Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under Grant Agreement No.
Bwater is a collaborative project with the Universitat Politècnica de Barcelona, and is funded by the Barcelona city council and Fundació “La Caixa” under reference number 22S-
The candidate will be involved in a range of research activities that will include data analysis, discussing findings with the team, writing reports / manuscripts, participating in annual and regular project meetings, presenting results in seminars or conferences, participating in group meetings, and attending ISGlobal scientific seminars.

Experience in advanced data analysis of climate and / or water quality data. Master in Public Health, Doctoral degree in environmental epidemiology, exposure science, climate science or other training in related fields.
Proficiency of statistical package use (e.g. R, STATA, etc.).

English. Fluent in Catalan and / or Spanish will be an asset.
