Job Description Summary

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the design, deployment, and delivery of projects of medium and high complexity. The role involves providing IT solutions aligned with business needs, managing project teams, and ensuring project success.

Role Purpose:
  • Manage design, deployment, and delivery of projects, providing IT solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Lead external project teams, monitor progress, quality, and budget to meet objectives.
  • Organize project meetings, maintain records of actions, decisions, issues, and risks, and serve as the primary escalation point.
  • Ensure smooth transition to operations and effective planning and execution of release activities.
  • Manage relationships with senior stakeholders, demonstrating soft skills and leadership.
  • Implement innovative, impactful, cost-effective programs aligned with business goals.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage internal and outsourced project delivery from initiation to operational transition, including governance, risks, and issues.
  • Ensure optimal resource use and adherence to project management standards, delivering on time and budget.
  • Support enterprise IT project portfolio management, including standards development, reporting, and resourcing.
  • Provide accurate project reporting and documentation.
  • Own project status updates, issues, and risks, reporting to governance bodies with focus on actions and ownership.
  • Ensure compliance with Security and Privacy policies within project scope.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
  • Support strategic planning and implementation in partnership with senior leadership.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Degree in Informatics, Computer Sciences, Business, or related field; relevant experience acceptable.
  • Certifications such as PMP, Agile/Scrum, or PRINCE2 preferred.
  • Experience with GxP solutions and clinical IT environments is desirable.
  • Knowledge of clinical development systems, processes, and tools is advantageous.
  • Ability to work in matrixed teams, managing interdependencies.
  • Proficiency in various project management methodologies.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • 10+ years of IT Project Management experience.
  • Proven adaptability and problem-solving skills in dynamic environments.
  • Experience in regulated industries, especially pharmaceuticals, is a plus.
