A leading company in the logistics sector is seeking an IT / OT Support Engineer to monitor and maintain terminal IT health. This full-time, onsite role involves supporting end-user devices, managing local IT infrastructure, and collaborating with regional teams. The ideal candidate will have a background in IT Engineering or Telecommunications, proficiency in English, and relevant certifications.

Formación

  • Knowledge of VMWare and networking preferred.
  • ITIL certification is essential.

We are seeking a dynamic IT / OT Support Engineer responsible for monitoring Terminal IT health, including infrastructure, network, storage, compute, and service request & incident management at Level 1 & 2. The role is full-time and onsite.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for end-user devices and applications, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile phones.
  • Support and maintain local IT infrastructure and assets, including datacenter racks, cabling, network, and server equipment.
  • Support and maintain local IT / OT infrastructure, including CCTV, radio, OCR, biometric readers, and vehicle-mounted terminals.
  • Assist regional IT teams with onsite support for incidents and changes.
  • Install and replace hardware devices.
  • Resolve incidents within service levels.
  • Support IT projects, upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
  • Perform routine maintenance and contribute to the support knowledge base.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and problem solving.

Data Center Support:

  • Maintain datacenter, server, and storage environments.
  • Implement remote monitoring.
  • Resolve incidents within SLA.
  • Ensure optimal health and security compliance.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • IT Engineering or Telecommunications background.
  • Knowledge of VMWare and networking (CISCO certification is a plus).
  • ITIL certification.
  • Proficient in English communication.
