ProjectBinder is a rapidly growing cross country consultancy company, with offices located in Denmark, Spain, Ireland and Germany. We support customers globally with IT / OT competencies with the goal of bridging the gap between the IT (Information Technology) and OT (Operational Technology).

We are looking for at IT / OT Engineer to join our Infrastructure division. As an IT / OT Engineer you will assist our engineering and IT-infrastructure teams on customer projects, doing assessments, documentation, migrations, change and lifecycle management.

Your projects will vary between greenfield and brownfield sites worldwide but mostly within the EU. Depending on the nature of the projects some travelling will be required.

Additionally, you will be part of our office team who consults, plans and sometimes implements customer solutions.

Taking responsibility for your contributions to IT / OT solutions presented to customers and helping your coworkers in your area of expertise.

Collaborate in developing, planning, and executing technical solutions including scoping of work and estimation.

The position is based out of our Valencia office, where you will be working closely with coworkers located in Denmark as well as customers located across Europe.

IT / OT infrastructure and networks

Strong interest in IT-security

Familiar with both Windows and Linux

Experience with virtualization

What you bring

To succeed in this role the following is a must :

Spoken and written English fluency (B2 or higher).

Be comfortable with travelling on a regular basis.

We would especially like to hear from you if can check one or more of the below points.

Basic knowledge of one or more of the following

IP networks, the network infrastructureand related protocols

Windows and Linux, installation, commands and scripting

Virtualization using VMs and / or docker

Have a basic understanding of industrial manufacturing processes, equipment, and machinery.

Experience with Siemens' industrial platform

Experience with ThinManager

Experience with Emerson DeltaV

Experience with PLC programming

Experience with the pharmaceutical industry or similar regulated industries.

Programming experience (any language)

Note that this position does not require previous job experience, however it is considered an advantage.
