TAI is affiliated with Universidad Rey Juan Carlos.

**IT Operations Manager**

**Job Overview**: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Operations Manager to lead and oversee our organization's IT operations.

As an IT Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the IT infrastructure, providing technical support, and ensuring the overall efficiency and security of our technology systems.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, guide IT projects, and maintain a stable and reliable IT environment to support the company's growth and success.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Infrastructure Management**:

- Oversee the deployment, management and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure.
- Ensure network stability, security, and scalability to support current and future needs.




- Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues to minimize downtime.

**Team Leadership and Development**:

- Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Set clear tasks and objectives for members of the IT team, provide technical guidance, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
- Facilitate professional development opportunities to enhance team members' skills.

**IT Operations and Support**:

- Provide technical support and troubleshoot complex IT issues for employees and students.
- Deploy and enforce IT policies, procedures, and guidelines to maintain data security and compliance.
- Manage software and hardware upgrades, installations, and license renewals.

**Vendor Management**:

- Evaluate and select third-party vendors for IT services, software, and hardware procurement.
- Negotiate contracts,



evaluate proposals and pricing to optimize value and quality.
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.

**Budget Management**:

- Develop and manage the IT budget, tracking expenses and controlling costs.
- Provide budget projections and justifications for IT initiatives and investments.

**IT Security and Compliance**:

- Implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect the organization's data and assets.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and compliance requirements.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and address them promptly.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Proven experience in IT management or a similar leadership role.
- Strong technical knowledge of IT systems (both Apple and Windows based),



infrastructure, and network administration.
- Hands-on experience with IT security, data protection, and disaster recovery.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on collaboration and employee development.
- Proficiency in budgeting, vendor management, and contract negotiations.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications would be advantageous.
