IT Operations Engineer – Azure & DevOps

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an IT Operations Engineer – Azure & DevOps in the European Union.

As an IT Operations Engineer specializing in Azure and DevOps, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure to ensure reliable, scalable, and high-performing systems. You will design and implement CI / CD pipelines, automate deployments, monitor system health, and troubleshoot issues across environments. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, apply Agile methodologies, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Accountabilities

In this role, your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure, with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Designing and implementing Azure YAML pipelines for CI / CD automation.
• Performing proactive system maintenance and lifecycle management to ensure operational excellence.
• Developing and maintaining monitoring and alerting systems for performance and reliability.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support deployments and troubleshoot issues.
• Applying Agile methodologies to deliver iterative, high-quality solutions.
• Providing advanced troubleshooting, debugging, and operational support across environments.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure engineering, or DevOps.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Azure and Azure YAML pipelines.
• Strong programming and scripting skills, including experience with Linux, Java, and Ansible.
• Expertise in monitoring and alerting systems to ensure system health.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Experience with Bicep for Azure resource deployment.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts.
