IT Onsite Support Engineer

This position is part of the Service Delivery team responsible for local and onsite user support, training, and project delivery. The successful individual will provide advanced technical assistance and consultation on various IT platforms, acting as an escalation resource for troubleshooting and solutions in line with Global IT Operations procedures. Key responsibilities include handling service requests and incidents via multiple channels, providing concierge services for executives, managing request queues, facilitating IT inductions, reviewing knowledge base articles, and supporting remote technical assistance.

Requirements include strong IT Systems Engineering skills, building and maintaining relationships with internal customers and IT teams, providing high-quality customer service, performing onsite support duties, managing service requests, updating knowledge base articles, creating and closing incidents using ITSM, developing technical processes, administering user accounts, supporting collaboration tools like Zoom, and participating in system deployment projects. The role demands adherence to security protocols and collaboration with vendors and internal teams.

Ideal candidates will have a solution-oriented, collaborative approach, excellent communication skills, ability to work independently, and a focus on process improvement. Technical skills should include broad knowledge of Microsoft technologies, Office 365, Windows support, ITSM, and familiarity with collaboration tools. Certifications such as MCITP, Security+, Network+, and ITIL Foundation are preferred. Physical demands include lifting equipment up to 60kg and some domestic travel.
