Our client, an innovative semiconductor design company, is seeking an experienced IT Manager to own and scale their hybrid IT infrastructure supporting ~150 highly technical engineers working on advanced silicon development.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining IT strategy, infrastructure architecture, and team management. You will oversee on-prem HPC clusters, colocation environments, cloud platforms, and corporate IT systems, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a small IT team while defining and executing the IT roadmap
• Manage hybrid infrastructure (on-prem HPC, colocation, cloud) running EDA workloads
• Operate Linux-based compute farms, distributed storage, CI/CD, and internal tooling
• Support engineering teams with GitLab, automation, and EDA tool environments
• Oversee IT operations, networking, identity management, and security

Requirements

• Experience as an IT Manager or Senior Systems Engineer in HPC, semiconductor, or similar technical environments
• Experience with distributed storage, automation (Ansible/Python/Bash), and CI/CD platforms
• Solid networking and infrastructure troubleshooting skills
• Proven ability to lead projects and manage small technical teams
