IT Manager in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref. : 532786) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Qualifications And Qualities

• a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline;
• a minimum of 10 years of solid programming and system development experience;
• proficiency in programming languages including PHP, HTML, JQuery, and Python;
• sound knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies and their applications;
• excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
• strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team;
• ability to multitask and deliver satisfactory results within tight timeframes; and
• proven experience in managing IT teams and projects.

Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To

overseeing the development and maintenance of websites and in-house web applications for Master Programmes;

Independently collect requirements, support user acceptance testing (UAT), and provide training;

coordinating and liaising with external vendors for application development, define functional specifications, and ensure the quality of deliverables;

managing and leading the programming team, ensuring effective collaboration and performance;

developing and implementing IT policies and procedures to ensure data security and compliance; and

performing any other duties as assigned.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
