Job Description:

We are looking for an IT Business Analyst - Supply Chain Demand Planning to be part of our IT Supply Chain Demand and Supply Planning team.

Position Snapshot:

• Location: Barcelona, Spain
• Type of Contract: Permanent
• Stream: IT Supply Chain & Procurement
• Type of work: Hybrid
• Work Language: Fluent Business English

The role:

In this position, you will serve as a liaison between IS/IT & Business Customers and Consumers. As part of the Product Team, you will bring deep understanding to the opportunities and issues facing your business function and advise on the best solutions. You will translate business strategies, opportunities, threats, and needs into IS/IT product requirements, and play a key role within the product team to specify, test, and deploy those as IS/IT solutions.

What you’ll do:

• Support the Product Manager and Business Relationship Manager in developing strategy through incremental product improvement.
• Partner with business and IS/IT to elicit, analyze, translate, and document business requirements, pain points, or opportunities into IS/IT requirements, plus test, document, and deliver solutions including training, deployment, and support.
• Identify security & compliance requirements, including roles, and ensure they are considered in solution design.
• Identify gaps in functionalities, options for improvement, and opportunities for process automation, supporting issue resolution as part of the third-level support.
• Work with business partners on design, solution sessions, and MVP testing throughout the project lifecycle.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in business analysis within a relevant functional area.
• Strong knowledge of SAP APO Demand Planning or similar tools, and basic knowledge of SAP ERP and SAP BW.
• Good understanding of the IT landscape, master, and transactional data needed for Demand Planning.

Bonus Points if you:

• Have knowledge of OMP Unison Planning solution.
• Have knowledge of forecasting and data analytics tools like SAS, Azure ML, Power BI, etc.
• Possess technical skills in APO and/or OMP, including debugging and configuration.
