What You Will Do

What You Will Do

• Drive, manage and maintain solution architectures and their documentation in the Market Data area, in close collaboration with Senior Architects, development teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with target state, architecture principles and standards, and governance processes
• Work with Senior Architects to shape the future architecture and roadmap for our data systems across the Market Data streaming landscape
• Support the SAFe System Architect for the Streaming Content Production Agile Release Train, paving the architectural runway to support architecture evolution and emerging business demand
• Forge strong ties with business stakeholders, developers and fellow architects
• Uphold our high standards by ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, and adhering to security, risk, and regulatory guidelines
• Support technology evaluations and the conception and crafting of prototypes

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a combination of relevant education and experience
• Strong background and previous experience in software engineering, knowledge of high-performance coding practices and technologies operating close to the hardware
• A minimum of 2 years in an IT Solution Architect / Application Architect role or managing some tasks on the IT architecture side. Experience in the global financial services sector, particularly in Financial Information, will be highly valued
• Knowledge of diverse technologies and solution architecture patterns, in particular in areas such as low-latency streaming, and with a drive for innovation and any experience with networking protocol layers including TCP / UDP and Multicast will be a plus
• Proficiency in English is mandatory, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Spanish and German is an advantage
• A natural collaborative mindset with capability to work across diverse teams, aptitude to abstract the macro and micro perspectives and an enthusiasm to be a direct contributor when needed
