Airbus Group is seeking an experienced software developer to design and build a next-generation structural analysis platform. You will work in a cross-functional team to advance digitalization, integrate AI and surrogate modeling, and contribute to ISAMI tooling for airframe engineering.

The role focuses on Modern C++ (C++20+), Python, GUI development with Qt, and software architecture, with responsibilities spanning development, validation, and coordination of subcontracted teams.

Formación

• Proven experience in software engineering/architecture with a foundation or interest in structural/stress analysis.
• Advanced English (written and spoken) and strong communication skills.
• Experience with GUI frameworks and simulation/FEA tools.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop the next-generation simulation platform (Advanced C++ framework) with GUI and multidisciplinary capabilities.
• Implement capabilities in the Stress Solver Repository using Modern C++ and Python.
• Automate structural analysis processes into ISAMI aligning with Airbus's digital strategy.
• Maintain and optimize existing Methods & Tools for current Airbus programs.

In this role you will help design and build the next-generation structural analysis platform used for sizing and certification of Airbus products. You will work within the Structural Analysis Methods & Tools Team to advance digitalization, combining advanced coding with airframe knowledge to improve data continuity and reduce lead time. You’ll tackle multidisciplinary simulation work and contribute to future ISAMI tooling, AI, and surrogate modeling efforts. This is a hands-on, cross-functional opportunity to shape next-gen engineering software at Airbus.

• Supervise and validate sub-contracted software development activities
• Education: Aeronautical, Aerospace, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science degree, or related discipline
• Proven experience in Software Engineering/Architecture with a foundation or interest in structural/stress analysis
• Expertise in Modern C++ (C++20+) and Python; strong software architecture and OOP; familiarity with GUI frameworks (Qt) and simulation/FEA tools (ISAMI, HyperWorks, Nastran)
