Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe/Madrid is seeking an Airframe Structural Design Engineer (Military Derivatives) in Getafe/Madrid to design structural components and assemblies for derivative aircraft programs, working cross-functionally with stress, analysis, and systems teams.

The role requires an Aeronautical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering degree, hands-on experience with metallic and composite structures, and proficiency in Catia V5 and Full3D.

Formación

• Aeronautical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering degree required.
• Proven experience in airframe structural design with metallic and composite technologies.
• Proficiency in Catia V5 and Full3D.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Experience with configuration management.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop structural components and assemblies for aircraft derivatives using Catia V5 and Full3D.
• Define design principles, interfaces, materials, and manufacturing process definitions.
• Participate in concurrent engineering with production and industrial teams.
• Collaborate with stress, analysis, systems, and other engineering offices to refine interfaces.
• Coordinate internal teams and external subcontractors.
• Provide technical support to stakeholders across supply chain, quality, manufacturing, airworthiness, and certification.

Join a new Military Derivatives Team under Airbus Defence and Space to design structural aircraft components for derivative programs. You will work cross-functionally with stress, analysis, and systems teams to deliver end-to-end engineering for military aircraft projects. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge design methods and collaboration across multi-national teams in a mission-driven environment. You will influence interfaces, materials, and manufacturing processes to support sovereignty-driven programs.
