You will understand and develop digital solutions to facilitate product compliance processes.

As our IS Senior Technical Expert in this cluster you will focus on designing, building, and maintaining compliance solutions for product and ingredient management.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Together with product development and compliance teams across our businesses understand new opportunities and translate them into digital solutions.
• You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and desired capabilities, understand the value to dsm-firmenich and provide constructive challenge where appropriate.
• Be accountable for executing the technical solution design considering customer & user experience, target audiences, data modelling and relationships. This includes integration implications with other internal and external platforms, functional logic, etc.
• You will own and manage the performance & support of key applications, provide technical knowledge to the Business and within the IS team to ensure project delivery & sustainable support of our solutions.
• Be accountable for technical development of new and improvements of existing applications as part of projects, ensuring coordination with other team members. In particular: Act as a full-stack developer to design innovative solutions and maintain applications & services hosted on Oracle database and various front end (View JS, Oracle Forms …) Modelize the data, build and manage DB schema on Oracle DB. Contribute to the UI/UX design of new applications. Implement API (stored procedures, functions, triggers) using PL/SQL or Web Service (Json, XML …) Monitor and troubleshoot issues on batch data jobs. Design, Develop and maintain Oracle database applications using the PL/SQL programming language. Optimize database performance by tuning SQL queries and PL/SQL code. Develop & execute test plans to ensure quality and accuracy of applications and PL/SQL code. Troubleshoot and resolving issues on heterogeneous set of system (Oracle DB, Unix, Windows, ESB, Rabbit MQ …)

As our IS Senior Technical Expert- PL/SQL Developer, you will be part of the Digital and Tech function, reporting directly to the Chapter Lead.

You bring:

• Working experience in application development (i.e., Chemical Industry, Pharma, Healthcare, Consumer Packaging Goods Co, or Consultancy).
• A solid understanding of digital product development in the process industry.
• Experience in turning business ideas into digital tools.
• Primary Development Skills and experience: ETL and PL/SQL, Data analysis/ Tuning.
• A solid understanding of IT infrastructure (network, middleware technology, cyber security aspects).
• Minimum bachelor’s degree with technical focus.
• Fluency in English.
• Experience in application infra-structure support.
• Interest in ElasticSearch, AI, Queueing technology.
