Abion is seeking a dedicated Trademark Paralegal to join our international IP team in Madrid. You will manage a diverse portfolio of national, EU, and international trademark matters and support the agency team with applications, renewals, and communications with offices.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience, strong English skills (C1), and a proactive, detail‑oriented approach. This role offers an engaging, collaborative environment within Europe’s leading IP practice.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Trademark Paralegal
• Advanced level of English (C1)
• Self-sufficient, proactive, organized and detail-oriented
• Knowledge of databases and management tools in the field of intellectual property
• Experience with prosecution of industrial designs and patents is a plus

Responsabilidades

• Management and prosecution of national, European Union, and international trademark matters
• Monitoring and tracking deadlines, tasks, and renewals
• Preparation and follow-up of applications and renewals before OEPM, EUIPO, and WIPO
• Support the agency team in administrative proceedings
• Preparation of quotations and invoices; coordination with IP agents and offices

About The Role

As part of the Abion/Baylos team, you’ll collaborate with our international network of IP professionals, working on a diverse portfolio of cases and clients. You’ll play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards and delivering exceptional legal services.

Key Responsibilities

• Management and prosecution of national, European Union, and international trademark matters
• Monitoring and tracking deadlines, tasks, and renewals
• Preparation and follow-up of applications and renewals before the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (OEPM), European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), and World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO)
• Support the agency team in administrative proceedings
• Preparation of quotations and invoicesCoordination and communication with intellectual property agents and offices

What We're Looking For

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Trademark Paralegal, managing national, European Union, and international trademark portfolios
• Advanced level of English (C1)
• Self-sufficient, proactive, organized and detail-oriented
• Knowledge of databases and management tools in the field of intellectual property
• It will be taken into account previous experience in the prosecution of industrial designs and patents
