Sanoma Education S.L.U in Madrid is seeking a Junior Legal Advisor specialized in Intellectual Property to support IP, contracts, and digital initiatives across Spain and Italy. The role requires proactive collaboration within the Legal team and cross-functional partners.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of IP experience, a law degree, and advanced English; a Master's in IP is valued. The position is a hybrid arrangement with international exposure in education and digital content.

Qualifications

Degree in Law (Spanish law) and IP experience.
Minimum 2 years of professional legal experience with IP matters.
Advanced English; native or bilingual Spanish.
Experience with contract drafting and review.
Master's or postgraduate qualification in IP is valued.
Experience in publishing/education/digital content is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide IP-related legal support for editorial, educational, and digital content.
Draft, review, and negotiate rights acquisitions, assignments, and licenses.
Offer contractual support across Editorial, Digital, Commercial, Marketing, Procurement, Technology, and Operations.
Draft and review SaaS, services, development, maintenance, and supplier contracts.
Support AI and emerging tech projects and their IP implications.
Familiarize with templates and recurring business queries; aid resolution.
Review distribution and channel agreements and commercial models.
Collaborate with Spain, Italy, and other Group Legal teams on cross-functional initiatives.
