Sanoma Learning in Madrid is seeking a Junior Legal Advisor – Intellectual Property to support editorial, educational, and digital content initiatives. The role requires IP experience and offers international exposure within a hybrid work setting.

You will draft and negotiate rights agreements, support corporate matters, and collaborate with teams across Spain and Italy to deliver practical legal solutions in a dynamic education tech environment.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years of legal experience with IP focus.
• Experience drafting and reviewing contracts.
• Experience in publishing/education/digital content is a plus.
• Not an entry-level role; practical IP foundation required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide legal advice on IP matters related to editorial, educational, and digital content.
• Draft, review, and negotiate rights acquisition, assignment, and licensing agreements.
• Provide contractual legal support to Editorial, Digital, Commercial, Marketing, Procurement, Technology, Operations.
• Draft and review SaaS, development, maintenance, and supplier contracts.
• Support AI and emerging tech projects and their IP impact.
• Familiarize with contractual templates and recurring queries; contribute to improvements.
• Review distribution and channel agreements; advise on commercial models.
• Collaborate with Spain/Italy Legal teams and cross-functional groups.
• Provide occasional support on other Group legal matters.
