The role involves designing and managing projects, ensuring compliance, and overseeing installations. Ideal candidates have a degree in Engineering and experience in the chemical industry, along with strong project management skills.

Formación

Maintenance Worker

We are a service provider company, leader in the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device sectors since 1998. Due to constant growth, we are looking for a Project Engineer Manager to join our team in Barcelona, Spain.

Responsibilities:

  1. Designing new projects: economic estimation, purchasing management, industrial contracting, creating plans and diagrams in CAD, and conducting economic studies.
  2. Planning and supervising the installation of industrial facilities: supervising contractors and installers, managing supply of materials, and ensuring compliance with schedules.
  3. Performing start-up procedures for new facilities: reviewing documentation, coordinating with suppliers, executing tests, and start-up procedures.
  4. Overseeing the entire project lifecycle: from planning through execution and evaluation.
  5. Legalization of equipment: promoting and ensuring legalization of equipment and installations where applicable.
  6. Coordinating with specialized and inspection/control companies approved by authorities.
  7. Ensuring facility qualification: preparing and maintaining documentation for the as-built condition of the facilities.

First Client's Project:

  • Location: 100% onsite
  • Duration: 6 months (with the possibility of a permanent contract)

Requirements:

  • Degree: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering (preferably in Chemistry)
  • Experience: Over 4 years in design, installation, start-up, and maintenance of facilities in the chemical industry or similar sectors
  • Languages: Fluent in Spanish, English, and Catalan (at least B2 level)
  • Skills: Proficient in project management software, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
