The role of the Investor Development team within Fitch Ratings is to:

  1. Raise the visibility and engagement of Fitch ratings with global debt capital market constituents, particularly fixed income investors.
  2. Be the voice of the buyside community within Fitch ratings, providing critical feedback on products, research and data.
  3. Drive deeper investor engagement and embed Fitch ratings and analytics in their workflows.

This increase in profile and engagement will be quantified by a broad range of metrics. The team has members in New York, Toronto, London, Paris, Frankfurt, Riyadh, Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, Beijing and Sydney.

We’ll Count on You To:

  1. Provide direct marketing support to the EMEA Investor Development Team.
  2. Manage content distribution, repurposing and marketing (primarily via email) to appropriate audiences, collaborating closely with the Marketing department.
  3. Be the point person in IDT for virtual events, liaising with the dedicated Events team.
  4. Be responsible for the IDT-led webinar platform, one of the key outreach channels at Fitch.
  5. Be responsible for list management for marketing campaigns and virtual events.
  6. Run performance reports for the various marketing campaigns the Investor Team manages.
  7. Contribute generally to implementation of strategy for the Investor Development Team.
  8. Identify pertinent research, prepare customised messages, and distribute targeted emails to the relevant investor audiences. Work with IDT colleagues to extend the shelf-life of relevant content and create cross-marketing campaigns.
  9. Compile marketing materials, pitch books and presentations with guidance of senior team members.
  10. Ensure consistency in marketing approach across the EMEA region in liaison with local IDT representatives and with other BRM teams in global locations.

What You Need to Have:

  1. The high-energy, team-player must be able to work well both independently and collaboratively.
  2. Previous experience in a marketing or business development role; financial services advantageous but not obligatory.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  4. An interest in financial markets.
  5. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to a high standard.
  6. Experience in organising webinars and marketing campaigns.
  7. Working experience in data manipulation and financial data tools (Bloomberg, Ipreo, Markit, etc.).
  8. Highly self-motivated: ability to generate ideas and demonstrate initiative, tenacity and perseverance, individually and within a team.
  9. Ability to thrive under pressure and demonstrate flexibility to meet tight deadlines.
  10. Thorough in project execution, with meticulous attention to detail.
