At ING, we are looking for a Process & Data Specialist

Your role and work environment:

We seek a talented and enthusiastic Investment Products Process & Data Specialist to join our Investment Expert team within the Products Tribe (COO Domain). Our goal is to develop and control investment product processes in a simple and efficient manner, all while maintaining a fun work environment.

In this role, you will develop and oversee processes related to investment products, focusing on the E2E Customer Journey—from acquisition and onboarding to ongoing customer experience—aimed at managing daily operations, processes, and delivery for retail customers. Your focus will be on improving process efficiency, performance, and identifying opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction.

Main product lines include brokerage, mutual funds, and pension plans.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Supervise a customer service support team, helping achieve targets related to productivity and turnaround times.
  • Monitor end-to-end processes, identify technical issues, and find solutions based on data analysis.
  • Identify customer needs and propose appropriate product configurations using your expertise.
  • Investigate incidents using regulatory and compliance processes, taking corrective actions as needed.
  • Analyze operational data and create reports (using tools like MicroStrategy, Excel, PowerPoint) to support decision-making.
  • Challenge and optimize current operational and customer processes.
  • Measure KPIs, analyze trends, and seek improvements to increase customer satisfaction and reduce costs.

Collaborate with external suppliers, report incidents, track processes, and propose improvements to ensure maximum protection for customers and compliance with regulatory frameworks such as CNMV.

What are we looking for?

We value individuals who are proactive, enthusiastic, and collaborative, with a talent for making things happen, helping others succeed, and staying ahead of challenges. You should be innovative, challenge the status quo, and propose creative solutions. Additionally, we seek candidates who:

  • Approach opportunities and challenges with energy and urgency;
  • Build strong partnerships and customer relationships;
  • Work autonomously and take initiative;
  • Communicate clearly to diverse audiences;
  • Possess problem-solving skills and a mindset for continuous improvement;
  • Make timely decisions and prioritize effectively;
  • Have strong analytical skills and a passion for innovation.

Proven track record and technical skills:

  • University degree;
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in banking operations;
  • Advanced skills in Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English;
  • Valuable experience with investment product processes, preferably mutual funds.

What do we offer?

We provide a flexible and supportive work environment, including options for remote work, a restaurant card, comprehensive health and life insurance, flexible benefits, shuttle services, banking perks, wellness programs, and a diverse and inclusive culture committed to sustainability and innovation. Join us to grow professionally and personally in a dynamic, international setting.
