Formación

• 3+ años de experiencia en banca de inversión tecnológica o finanzas corporativas.
• Habilidades analíticas y de modelado financiero son esenciales.

Seaya Ventures - Investment Associate (18-month engagement)

About Seaya

Seaya raised its first fund in 2013 and currently manages over €700 million across five early-stage venture funds. Seaya accelerates the growth of startups by leveraging the founder’s strategic vision, providing them with Seaya’s global platform, its extensive network of founders, investors, and multinational corporations, as well as all its experience in the global expansion of companies such as Glovo, Cabify, Wallbox (NYSE: WBX), Clicars, Clarity AI, RatedPower, TheHotelsNetwork, and Alma.

We are a hands-on partner to founders and help them grow their business internationally using our deep sector expertise, operational know-how, and international network. We are looking for a Visiting Associate within the Seaya Ventures team (Seaya’s early-stage fund that invests in Seed to Series A Tech-first businesses across Europe) to focus on:

1. Deal origination: development of thesis based on Tech and sector trends, market research, and competition mapping, apply critical thinking to filter opportunities.
2. Deal execution: analysis of investment opportunities covering market, product, technology, and business.
3. Due diligence: combination of external (meetings with founders, industry experts, competitors) and internal (sector analysis, competition, product deep dive) DD.
4. Development and presentation of memos to the investment committee.
5. Tech & data: research and implementation of data-driven and automation-focused tools to improve the investment process.

Requirements

• Motivation: Passionate about technology and VC.
• Experience: 3+ years in Tech Investment Banking / Corporate Finance or as a CFO at a startup / scaleup.
• Strong work ethic: Committed and diligent, consistently striving for excellence. Self-driven with a high level of dedication, reliability, and resilience.
• Analytical: Financial and business modelling skills, structured problem solving, and research skills.
• Technical: Technical studies (Computer / Data Science, Engineering, etc.). Strong intellectual curiosity, interest in going deep into Tech products.
• Language skills: English (excellent), European language (non-Spanish) is a plus.
