Investment Analyst – Alternative Assets / Venture Capital and Fund of Funds

Team :

Venture Capital team (within the Alternative Assets division) with 170M€+ AUM, managing 5 investment vehicles (direct and Fund of Funds) and 50+ portfolio companies. The position will be within the Venture Capital team in our Alternative Assets business line, which also manages the Fund of Funds strategy. This team primarily invests €1M to €5M in expansion-to-growth stages (Series A onwards) in high-growth digital tech & industrial companies across Europe and Iberia, managing 50 portfolio companies and 20+ investments in international funds.

Key Responsibilities

• Investment Evaluation / Analysis : Evaluate and analyze financial performance, market positioning, and growth potential of potential investment targets. Develop financial models and valuation analyses. Assist in preparing investment memos, presentations, and due diligence reports. Conduct due diligence, analyze financials, business models, management teams, and market opportunities. Coordinate with legal, financial, and operational teams. Help prepare and review deal documents. Monitor portfolio performance and support portfolio company management. Attend board meetings and interact with portfolio companies.
• Networking & Deal Sourcing : Build relationships with entrepreneurs, accelerators, incubators, and venture capitalists. Participate in industry events and networking activities.
• Market Research and Analysis : Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and sectors. Monitor industry developments, competitor activities, and market shifts.
• Reporting : Provide updates and reports to senior investment team. Prepare presentations and investor reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in consulting, Big4 (Transactions or M&A), boutique M&A, IB, or similar growth PE/VC firms.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Finance preferred.
• Available to join full-time from September 2025 in Barcelona.
• Ideally pursuing the CFA charter.
• Native Spanish speaker with full professional proficiency in English.
