The Capacity Planning Team provides AMZL with cost-optimal and flexible capacity solutions for in-station operations, year-round and enabling the business to scale for seasonal peak demand increases. This role is based out of the London corporate office. The ideal candidate is passionate about leveraging data to deliver actionable insights that impact daily business, has a strong delivery record, and experienced in driving execution in a cross-functional environment, backed by analysis and data. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, relish working with large amounts of data, and enjoy the challenge of solving highly complex, and sometimes ambiguous problems.
In this position, you will take ownership of labor planning from the start, exercise sound judgment to ensure plans are realistic and achievable. As a Planning Analyst in the Capacity Planning Team, you will work on the weekly cadence for generating labor plans for AMZL delivery stations to prepare for the future. You will analyze execution gaps to improve future plans, build key cross-functional relationships, and ensure decisions are made and actioned efficiently. You will challenge the status quo and strive for continuous improvement. The role requires problem-solving skills, comfort working with big data from multiple sources, and enthusiasm for partnering across teams. You should be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, curious, and detail-oriented.
